Sudan,
officially the Republic of the Sudan is an Arab state in the Nile Valley of
North Africa, bordered by Egypt to the north, the Red Sea, Eritrea and Ethiopia

parity (PPP) based per capita GDP was estimated to be at USD 4446.76.

2016, Sudan government's revenue was SDG 55.307 billions whereas the
expenditure was SDG 66.038 billions. This resulted Sudan government's net
lending / borrowing negative at SDG 10.732 billion in 2016 indicating that
enough financial resources were not made available by the government to boost
economic growth.

billions for the year 2016 and is expected to decline at a CAGR of 3.72% and
reach USD 8.249 by 2022. This negative current account balance indicates the
