This resulted in GDP deflator 114.333. Per capita GDP was estimated at USD 977.444 whereas purchasing power parity (PPP) based per capita GDP was estimated to be at USD 1970.26.

In 2016, Zimbabwe governments revenue was expected to bet at ZWD 3.502 billions whereas the expenditure was expected to be at ZWD 4.955 billions. This resulted Zimbabwe governments net lending / borrowing negative at ZWD 1.452 billion in 2016 indicating that enough financial resources were not made available by the government to boost economic growth.

The current account balance for Zimbabwe was estimated to be negative at USD 0.234 billions for the year 2016 and is expected to decline at a CAGR of 42.27% and reach USD 0.025 by 2022. This negative current account balance indicates the Zimbabwe is a net borrower from the whole world.
