revenue was IDR 1774040.399 billions whereas the expenditure was IDR
20817113.201 billions. This resulted Indonesian government's net lending /
borrowing at negative at IDR 307672.803 billion in 2016 indicating that enough
financial resources were not made available by the government to boost economic
growth.
The current account balance for Indonesia
was at USD 16.347 billions for the year 2016 and is expected to decline at a
CAGR of 10.19% and reach USD 34.558 by 2022. This negtaive current account
balance indicates that Indonesia is a net borrower from the whole world.
