Slovakia, the Slovak Republic, is a landlocked state

Euro 78.855 billions in 2016 whereas the nominal GDP was Euro 80.958 billions.
This resulted in GDP deflator 102.667. Per capita GDP was estimated at USD
16498.53 whereas purchasing power parity (PPP) based per capita GDP was
estimated to be at USD 31338.81.
The output gap for Slovak in 2016 was 0.034% of the
potential GDP which indicates that Slovak economy was outperforming by managing
actual output higher than it's maximum potential.
In 2016, Slovak government's revenue was Euro 32.109
billions whereas the expenditure was Euro 33.709 billions. This resulted Slovak
government's net lending / borrowing negative at Euro 1.6 billion in 2016
indicating that enough financial resources were not made available by the
government to boost economic growth.
The current account balance for Slovak was estimated
to be at USD 0.318 billions for the year 2016 and is expected to grow at a CAGR
of 36.72% and reach USD 1.661 by 2022. This positive current account balance
indicates the Slovak is net lender to the whole world.
