Costa Rica, officially the Republic of Costa Rica, is a country in Central
America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the southeast, the

enough financial resources were not made available by the government to boost
economic growth.

current account balance for Costa Rica was estimated to be negative at USD
2.055 billions for the year 2016 and is expected to decline at a CAGR of 5.46%
and reach USD 3.618 by 2022. This negative current account balance indicates
the Costa Rica is net borrower from the whole world.
